therapy with mccall
Even just stumbling upon this website is a brave step in seeking change. Being curious in the unknown and the willingness to be authentic can be scary but what an adventure it is.
I believe you hold all the answers to your story. I am here to listen, support, and bring a non-judgmental and compassionate perspective to your experiences, as well as challenge you appropriately. I believe in incorporating the mind, body, and spirit where each and every aspect of you is important. My goal for our time together is for you to feel safe and discover your true, authentic self in a place where you can explore who you are without limitations. I want you to discover how to love yourself for who you are and gain tools to navigate with confidence whatever life throws your way. I believe transparency and real connection is half the magic of the therapeutic experience and I am always open to discuss what works and what does not work along the way.
what i do
I graduated from the University of North Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Throughout my schooling I volunteered in hospital settings and nonprofit organizations. I went on to receive a Master of Education at the University of Georgia in Mental Health Counseling. During my graduate program I worked with students in recovery from substances and eating disorders providing individual and group therapy. After graduating, I worked as a behavioral health clinician in a rural community mental health facility where I saw individuals dealing with substance misuse and severe mental disorders. Then I went and provided individual therapy in a group practice setting. Now I am wonderfully on my own journey!

values
authenticity
The magic of therapy is being in a space of realness. I promise to be present and responsive to you and hold space for the freedom to explore who you are and who you want to be.
curiosity
Sometimes it’s overwhelming to even think about changing a negative thought, belief, or behavior. I believe there is power being curious about what would happen if you did challenge what you’re working on. Being curious is willing to being open.
bravery
It takes bravery to want to tackle hard things and come face to face with challenges. I will walk along side you on this journey but you courageously will lead the way. Doing the things you think you can’t just takes one step at a time!
